Sorry to hear your news Chantel i know just how you feel, i am still facing a similar situation two broods of checkerds both broods have some young that refuse to feed, they were born in august so they are being kept alive [in my opinion] by the vits in their water, i haven't given up on them but i don't hold out much hope.
i know that you can tell yourself that this is the downside to a passion that gives us much pleasure but it doesn't help much at all,... in fact to utilize the vernacular......it sucks

Oh, Chantel...I am so sorry. I was just catching up on this thread from last night and I saw she had eaten and was moving a bit more and I got excited there for a minute and then read that she passed. It's very depressing even if we did all expect it to be the outcome. I admit I had some hope that she might just pull through. I wish there were something I could say to make this better but I know there isn't. Just know that we are thinking of you and little Angel. Rest in peace, little girl.
