Visions of rodents dancing in their heads... OK, where's our poets? Who's taking a crack at this?

family wont let me on computer today they say i should be with them, not stuck in the loft, just sneaked away for five minutes and found this challenge ...sorry best i could do in five minutes

Santa's sleigh depart's the roof
his presents left behind
beneath the tree all neatly wrapped
for the garter snakes to find
for some there's little pinky mice
for others salmon fish
there's trout and really big red worms
set in a yule tide dish
when they finally find these pungent gifts
they'll all be tickled pink
but i hope they find them bloody soon
or my living room will stink

Nature apparently has a sense of humor. My friend's sister grew this plant this summer. Seriously. This isn't some photo shopped crap from the internet. Hard to believe, but this is real.
