A teacher once asked us in seventh grade, in German class, how many pets we keep. I included the mealworms I was raising for my skink and toads in my answer. She didn't have a sense of humour.

I'm going to have to see how many are left
I know two of the cory cats died
and the tetras must be on their way out - they're five years old
I have no idea how old the otos get
the clown loach is only about 4" at this point
I have no idea when he'll be big enough to eat
we don't include worms or crickets, but we do the hissing cockroaches (oh, two of those also died)

I am feeling so overwhelmed
ripped the rack apart and moved the plated lizards yesterday
it feels like I'm not gonna get any rest 'til this damn move is over
and I feel so alone in this - tha's the worst part
