Our tree will go up on Sunday, the cat will behave like Tank did. Especially as we have to move furniture to make room for the trees in our tiny living room. Mort doesn't like change, he's bad enough if the cushions on the sofa get swapped around, he's getting to be a grumpy old man who is set in his ways.
Just when he's got used to the tree, we will take it down. :-)

our tree goes up sometime this week the bad news is my wife has taken the tons of xmas decorations out of the cupboard and it sits on one side of the loft/reptile room until SHE WHO MUST BE OBEYED finds time to put it up, i am at the moment trying to get one of my offspring to post some pictures of the new radix [negotiations are at a delicate stage] if successful i will post a photo of the mess she has left my room in

it was my understanding that handling/disturbing them can stress them out and cause them to shed hairs.

Didn't appear to stress Twiggy out! But who knows!

Oh no...It just occurred to me that my chihuahua puppy gets into everything and that he is going to be a mess with the Christmas tree...I usually have to chase the cats out from under the tree several times a day...they love to sit under the tree and bat at the decorations with their paws...but the puppy is going to try to eat every decoration and probably the tree too!

I didn't put up the tree last year, because we had just adopted our rescue poodle. My boys have already been asking about the tree for THIS year. We still have Eli the brat, but we also got a cat this year! Maybe I can put it by the hall way and tie it to the decorative column...

Ha ha...exactly. Here are some pics of my chihuahua torturing my big fat cat Boo today. He just goes up and sits on top of poor Boo and Boo just sits there making these sad meow sounds...it's really funny. I'm thinking of making a video and sending it to America's Funniest Home Videos...
