My pleasure. I'm more into building new vivs than observing my babies right now, because they do nothing. :P It's probably the part of the year that is causing their behaviour. Hope it will get better in the spring.

I made Izy eat a rat pinky by turning her frenzy on with a swordtail (when she was in hunting mode - she has got a heavilly scented rat). Great success! I was suprised she was able to swallow it though. Oh well, who would complain? So, it's her first rodent after 3 months!

Yeah, I'm happy with that too. Normally, I feed with them Kleo and Amon (Kleo's head is bigger than Izy's, even if the thickness of their bodies are almost the same); I'm low on mice pinks right now, so I had no option here. Luckily, Izy is big enough after few months of growth to swallow them.

Izy's going to shed at last (after 3 months?). It seems this rat pinky she ate made her grow again. Her head is almost as big as Kleo's right now (3/4 of Kleo's), so I think it's gonna be OK.

Although Izy's gonna shed, she ate a smelt from tongs. I think she went her pig mode again. Yay! Smart girl - she knows she has only 15 months to make herself big enough to be ready for breeding season.

I'm considering of buying a mate for all my snakes, besides Kleo (ribbons are too problematic to run a whole gang). Do you always keep males and females separate?

I'm going to let more experienced members take this one...what I can say is that unless you are planning on having little baby snakes, yes, you have to keep the snakes separate.

I keep Mama and snakey together usually, but Mama can ovulate at any time and use sperm from a past breeding... So either way, she's in charge of whether or not she wants babies. She popped out a baby and 2 jellies a few weeks ago, and hasn't been bred in over 7 months.
