The telling you it was overheating was just the virus' way of getting the machine restarted to complete the malware installation. The ******* virus you got was particularly nasty and installed loads of other crap as well. And prevented me installing removal tools. :-(

Had to look that one up. Luddite-1. One who fears technology (or new technology, as they seem pleased with how things currently are...why can't everything just be the same?)

I hate AVG free. It's a POS imo.
I use firefox only, I hate chrome and IE. I do have ESET, but my boyfriend thinks I should ditch that for the MS Security. I might try that instead.

Based on the Luddite movement of the 18th and 19th century. Luddites in the UK objected to farming and manufacturing improvements that led to labours and the working classes losing employment and ending up impoverished. This led to the rise in numbers of workhouses. I knew that A' Level in Social istory would come in handy one day!

I don't like change, mostly because all the changes in my life were bad, or had bad effects... Probably not a good thing, that it has effected my technological behaviour... Hah.

I don't But, the only history schools here will teach is American history, which is force fed to you from age 8 to18. After one year of history, you literally know it all... They use the same textbooks every year. At least here they did, and on the online schooling I did, it was the exact same.

We learn our own history obviously, but we lean world history as well. My favourites are the October revolution in Russia, the french revolution, Vietnam, The industrial revolution and tudor Britain. Wanted to be a history teacher for a while but decided primary school teaching was more me.

I think this is where Americans tend to fail, I am interested in other country's history... It's the lack of teaching that causes the problems, though
I wanted to learn about Irish history, and German history the most... I'm hoping that when I go back to high school, they'll at least offer one history class that isn't strictly American.
