They do. Axanthic phase.

Yup. The axanthic radixes got that blue glow thing going on like the anery concinnus'. I know we've always been calling them "blue anery" (the concinnus') but that blue glow has me suspecting all along that they could be axanthic. Xanthosphores can be red/orange you know. They don't have be yellow.

However, I think that "blue" you're seeing on the baby radix is just iridescence.

It's been a long time since I've posted about our girl Lucky. She'll be 5 years old this Spring.
She's off food again but it's that time of the year for her.
We are hoping she'll breed next year and give us some beautiful babies.
