    Speckles' grave

Speckles died on October 16 at 5:35 am. She was one of the most beautiful of the babies, a great eater and one of the calmest. She greeted me every time I changed the water dish, and was always interested in knowing what was going on. Speckles brought me a lot of happiness and losing her has been really rough. I thought such a special snake deserved her own thread. Everyone who met her in person loved her and had their heart melted by her sheer cuteness. My snakes are like my children, and it feels like a piece of me is missing now that she's gone.

We buried Speckles 2 days ago. I thought some of you may want to see her one last time.
Here is her little coffin... It says "Memory... A keepsake of the heart forever"

Her last picture was taken 2 days before burying her

And her grave. I painted the tombstone for her.

Here's a picture of her at 3 months old, before she coloured up. She was beautiful even when she was greyed out. I took this as a size comparison originally.

This beautiful baby may be gone, but I definitely wont forget her.

Poor Speckles, may she rest in peace. I know how it feels to lose a snake.
