    Re: Isis' diary.

So I'm sure now - Izy loves Kleo! When her big sister goes to another hide, Izy is following her! OMG, it's so cute! I found them today morning, when they were acting like clones, I mean Kleo was at her root looking around and Izy has copied her every move and pose. They are so much fun together.

Also, let me introduce you my new baby. it's a corn snake, anery. She's 2 years old and 89 cm large. She's small, but she's awesome. I hope she'll get along with Amon one day, but right now she has her own tank. Her name's Nefretete (Nefri).

    I hope you like her.

Well, they have similiar housing conditions... As far as I know, Nefri was housed with other corns and she didn't hurt them (she wasn't cannibalistic). As for Amon, he's way too small to hurt her (he didn't hurt Kleo when he had a chance). I'll try baby steps. Maybe they will get along just fine. Anyway, she's very docile and fine snake. I think she won't hurt Amon (if they get together fine, they will be living in a very big tank, like 120x50x40). But right now they live separate. I just want to be sure.

Like I said, I'll make baby steps. If I'll see any aggression from both sides, the experiment will over.

Very docile and fine is good but when it comes to being housed with a different species you must be extra careful.

Yes, Steve, you're right. I know it's nothing like Kleo - Izy team. They have their own separate tanks and if I have any reason to suspect there's something wrong, they will end up in separate tanks. I'm quite good when it comes to observations and I believe that I can recognise there's something wrong with this picture. Let me assure you, I will do my best to check if they can be housed together. Baby steps, like I said. A few months will pass when I even consider to place them in one tank! I was waiting few months to join Kleo and Izy - I'm not a "rush guy", believe me. I can be very patient...

    Re: Isis' diary.

I'm concerned you guys got the wrong picture... I wouldn't do ANYTHING that would threat my snakes... It was just a long shot with joining Nefri with Amon. It won't happen in a next few months if anytime. I have to learn more about Nefri.

PS. I just found that Lucky the Mouse makes some kind of trips when I'm sleeping. I found several poops in my aquarium (when I was cleaning it up) that without any doubt belong to Lucky. But he always return to his cage before I wake up. Sneaky little beast! Pooping in Izy's plate, that little toad!

    Re: Isis' diary.

I think the concern is with the option of just not housing them together.
There can be no problems if they don't live together.
    Just my thoughts.

    Re: Isis' diary.

Well, Steve, they won't as far as I'm concerned. I've never put them together and I probably never will. Yes, I'm toying with that thought, but it probably never happen. I'm really not the guy who's risking lives of my own pets (sorry for the word: "pets"). I know Amon quite well - now I'm trying to know Nefri better. I spent huge amount of money to get Nefri's tank (she has the biggest) - and if I was reckless I wouldn't even bother... Really, trust me.
