Not everywhere is the same for Manitoba
I've been noticing that snakes like A show up in this area while snakes like C show up in other places.
Snakes like D just don't show up often for me even though they are the most beautiful one, super color combination

Well D is another species. Radix... The others are all parietalis I'm thinkin'...

Yes D without question is thamnophis radix. But seeing a high degree of variation in the same locality is very common... the easterns in my backyard are all a little different! A B and C are probably all parietalis but they could be s. sirtalis or even intergrades of the two! I like A, with the white flecks!

No such thing, cause 1., that's not a plains of any kind, ad 2., there's no such thing as an eastern plains.

1.1.0 - Thamnophis Radix (Slider, Serpent)
2.1.0 - Thamnophis Sirtalis Parientalis (Spot, Pepper, Sunny)
1.1.2 - Thamnophis Marcianus (Frosty, Blizzard, 2 unnamed)
0.0.2 - Storeria occipitomaculata occipitomaculata (Tic & Tac)
1.1.0 - Pantherophis guttatus (Rambo, Sticks)

Looks like a cute little parietalis.
Could be and eastern though... I doubt t.

I heard that easterns might not be in manitoba. People only think they might be found in the southeast of manitoba or right on the border of ontario. Next year I'm going to travel to find out.
