Five of the babies are eating good and growing so quickly, but there was a late birth and he isn't eating yet. I noticed about a week ago that his eyes had turned white which had me confused as most garter babies shed at birth or shortly after. Yesterday he finally shed and I have hopes that he will eat soon. The others are even more aggressive eaters than any eastern I've ever had and I thought they were great eaters!
I know that I wouldn't get what they are worth selling them so I intend to keep them and try to trade them for other species of garters - flames, eastern blacknecks, oregon red spotteds, etc. So keep that in mind if anyone has any they are interested in trading.
