I think he meant the banana slugs. I think I read that they eat mushrooms, and if they eat one that's toxic, they can secrete it with their slime.

Both if you're talking about the very dark brown huge ones with orange bellies and slime. They're both native. Both eat things that aren't good for your garters, (toxic mushrooms & other fungi, toxic plants, feces, etc.) and they both have choking "super glue" slime.

Ok. Thanks. Herb has a white belly. He is more of a light milk chocolate color. It was very difficult to get his color in the photo.
