    Well, some parasites that are ingested cant really kill your snake. So I personally don't see them as harmful.

    Well, just cause it doesn't kill the snake, doesn't mean you want them in his system.

    A healthy younger snake can live with parasites(most wild snakes do) without any issues.
    The problem is when they become ill and/or old and their health is poor.
    Then the parasites can kill as the once healthy snake can no longer keep them in check.
    Just a thought.

    Yes, and I know you don't want them in it's system, but if that is the case, then why feed something that could give it parasites?

    Because I was under the impression that freezing it eliminated parasites. I never feed stuff that risks parasites.

    It eliminates most of them if frozen right. Some are resistant to it. I believe Richard told me that.

    Yes, at -20 c. I'm not trying to be mean in any way, or accuse you of anything. Just pointing stuff out. I wish we had a freezer that could go that low, snakes would have treats more often.
