Going to the beach. Today. Noon. The snakes lights are off, they got fed yesterday, more than usual... that's about it. Not too worried, it's only 4 days, but is there anything else I should do?

Oh yeah, forgot to mention that. The snakes have a deeper-the-their-water-bowl dish (as in, small bowl) along with the water bowl.

I hope you have a great time at the beach and good luck herping down there. Just find you some nice wooded areas to walk along in the mornings and you should find some snakes. Last year i found an eastern glass lizard, coachwhip, rough green, and a scarlet snake.

See if you can find some great pieces of wood for your tank. I would do that too when looking for snakies. Good luck and have a great time.
I wanted to Thank you Steve for your help with the heating pad.
I have 4 Easterns(mine: Furbie and Whiplash; moms: Diamond and Silky) all are 5 and half months old. So much fun gaters are.

Yup, they are fine. They all ate, Red acted like I had starved him.
even though he was still quite fat.
Had a great time, but didn't find any snakes... didn't herp much though. Found two baby anoles, a skink... and frogs. Pitiful. (the anoles were awesome -- a first for me)
I did pull up out of the ocean two fish with my bare hands (yeah baby) 6 tiny hermit crabs, one tiny "real" crab, and a big crab.. Just about lost a finger with that guy.
