    I'm only guessing but I think Jesse though it was a slug(garden pest) that had been put in the enclousre and then dryed out.
    Not a unfertilized egg(slug)

    Now I feel like a complete, total, idiot. That's exactly what I thought.

    Obviously the breeding lingo hasn't quite sunk in yet. I knew the term (even though it was missused here) but yeah, I just heard "slug" so I thought "SLUG"... I also had just been talking about real slugs in another thread..

    Nevermind. Whatever.

    Haha, don't worry, when he said slug I thought the same thing. I thought 'that looks like an unfertilized egg, not a slug'... And it took me way longer than it should've to figure out what people were talking about.

    The reason it is so dark is because it has been in her way to long. I have seen this before. There may be more to come
