There you go, wrong time of day again. Unless of course, it's very, very cool outside. It's very easy to be in the right place at the wrong time.

Heck, if I go out this time of day to my anery spot, I won't find a damn thing. Yet after 5pm or in the morning, you're practically tripping over snakes.

In my area, it doesn't get all that hot.

I've been driving around on my bike for the past hour..

Anyway, I couldn't find anywhere that looked good.

So, I didn't look at all.

    But......

My favorite spot is loaded with snakes, for the most of the day.

I didn't go to my favorite spot during that hour though...

I mostly wanted to check for better / other spots.

I couldn't find any places, though.

Well, sometimes the temperature doesn't matter. They avoid high UV index. It's quite high at this time of day. Doesn't really drop off until after around 5pm. I know you find snakes this time of day but you're more likely to have better luck at the times I mentioned.

Try using google earth. Take a look at what the known good area looks like, and find other places on the map that look similar and/or are near water. That has always worked for me. That's how I took a chance and traveled 25 miles to find that really good spot where all the anery's are. I scoped it out on google earth first. Sure enough, I hit the jackpot.

Alright, the next time I'm feeling up to going (Possibly today..) I will try around 5:15 or 5:30.. (Just to be safe..) Would that be good?
