    I caught a new snake today...

    I go looking for snakes a lot, I haven't gone for a while,

    Anyway, I went out looking to see what I could find.

    I only saw one.

    That snake that caught me off guard.

    I managed to get it...

    Just barely, because it went straight for the thorn bushes...

    I had thorns in my hand, at the time..

    Anyway, I brought it home..

    And got pictures with my phone...

    My cam is broken...

    Here are the pictures.







    I am going to post pictures of all the new snakes I get..

    I will be posting them here, on this thread.

    The pictures might not be so good, sorry...

    Does anyone know what kind this one is?

    I will get more pictures if needed...

    If you're in washington, there are only a couple species. Most common is an ordinoides, northwestern garter snake. Where in washington are you?

    He looks like mine, even the little dot on the head. Except mine is brown. I think thats a NW

    Looks NW, The other one you had looked to be a puget. We have both those breeds. What part of WA you in?

    I live in Kitsap county. You'll love the NW. They are super sweet. They can be picky eaters at first though. Do you know if you have a boy or a girl?

    You are lucky, I have been in Moses Lake for 4 years and have never found a single Garter

    How about the under side and a side view? I'm not the best at telling the sex, but a lot of others are.
