I bought it 5 years ago. It was $350. Well worth it though. The lens is the best part. It's a Carl Zeiss,excellent quality glass and manufactuing.

Please don't tell me it's AA batteries?! Can't stand those!!!!! I need a lithium ion battery like all cameras now!!

I actually have a Nikon in mind that take AA and may still do it, same with this camera.
