All the snakes have light and heat re-established.
They will sleep better tonight. Most are heading to their warm hides.
    Clean-up continues.
    Much to do.

I should be able to finished the snake room in the morning. Then the rest of the basement needs work.
It's official, I lost no electrical anything because of this water.
Even my wireless light controller(which got wet) survived. I took them apart and into the oven they went.
With the oven set on "Proof" is just enough heat to dry things but not enough to damage them.
From this ordeal I have learned a few things. I now have all my power strips/surge protectors mounted 2 feet off the floor.
I'm also going to move my shelving up 2 inches for a little more insurance.

    Well, nothing electric or electronics.
I still need to cut drywall out and throw away many wet items.
Some I will be glad to get rid of.

5" of rain last night. Basement is getting wet again. Pumps are running nonstop.
So far the big snake room is dry.
Looks like I'm on a island. Water surrounding the house.
    Update later.
