re: Other pets (pics and discussions)

I'm hoping you guys can help with a quick question. I think we're ok, but would love confirmation. My little kingsnake refused food last week. I've had her since April and it's the first time she's refused food for me. Noticed a couple of days later that she was going into shed. Ok, that could explain it. She shed last night and I offered her half of a really large fuzzy this morning. The meal size was ok for her, but she's never had one cut in half. Just as she was finishing I spooked her and out came the mouse. She's never been a shy eater, so I wasn't expecting her to spook so easily. Anyway, no real worries at this point, right? Not a true regurge so we're ok to try again in a couple of days, right? Thanks in advance

Oh. Because you know, it seems to me that, aside
from being a little mentally ill, she's pretty normal.

I think in your case everything is fine. Give us an update to let us know how she does.

Thanks. I'll give her a few days and will update after the next feeding attempt.

Biglegs ate his first whole (kind of) worm! It was the baby worm that was born about 2 weeks ago. He's eaten a worm chunk before, but rejected it all the other times. He also bit my finger! I was feeding my new guy (I'm open to some names, I think it's a girl ) and Biglegs jumped and attacked my finger and wouldn't let go. I love these frogs. They are pretty fun to have, especially when one that is smaller than your finger... Is trying to eat that same finger. Haha.

They're fun, smaller frogs. They only get about 2 inches long. I love them, I enjoy their company, even if I cant hold and cuddle them like I do with my snakes. It's fun watching them scoop the food into their mouths with their little hands, and cling to the tweezers when they want more.

You want a fun frog to feed check out pacmans or pyxies!! I seriously love burrowing frogs. They just sit there and look personally offended by everything you do

Your little frogs (what kind were they again?) are probably a lot more entertaining though.

Pacific chorus frogs. They hop around the tank and watch me from their water dish. They probably poop in the water and think "Yeah! Take that!" They literally leave giant logs of poop in the water just a couple minutes after cleaning it, every time! They're worse than garters with the water dish toilet
