Babies are all doing well today. Will switch them to aspen chips this evening and try offering some worm parts. I am interested in seeing what they do in the aspen chips. Mommy likes to dig tunnels.

Aspen is dangerous when ingested, especially for babies, so unless you feed out of the cage, I wouldnt yet.

I have a separate container to feed in. I want to feed them individually so I know who had eaten or not.

Always a good idea. especially with possibly dangerous substrate.

Yeah. We feed our adults out of the enclosure when we give worms. Pinkies don't last long enough to hit the ground... piggies

Yeah, same here. Sticky things are too risky. Unless their small, then the slide right down so fast.

Keep in mind if all of your babies don't eat to put them together and try feeding again sometimes when they are together it triggers a feeding response. You will be able to tell wich ones ate most of the time.
