I used to live in Orlando off curry ford road, not much to see besides Anoles and racers.
Go out to apopka (farm country) and visit the lake apopka restoration area, it has marshy wet lands. Just keep an eye out for copperheads and coral snakes.
There is certainly herps on Orange Blossom Trail, but the wrong kind.

I don't think anything is COMMON.... Ive always heard of Orlando, as not a very snake-populated area. I don't even know if it's a city or what, but there's not a lot of snakes there compared to most places.. Like the rest of Florida. But I'm sure you can find some...
what about corns and garters...i was talking to a guy about Florida herping just the other day and the time you go out herping seems to be the key facture. If your looking for snakes go out at night, it should increase your chances
