5w isn't a significant difference in the amount of light produced. How about those fancy spiral bulbs? I prefer those, as they produce more light with a lot less heat.
People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but actually, from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint, it's more like a big ball of wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey stuff.

They use a lot less power, too. Good for the ecosystem. A 15w spiral produces the equivalent of a 60w incandescent.

I like them mostly because I rarely ever have to change them. They last like 20 years or so.

First Kleo, then Amon, Izy, as the youngest is last.

    Re: Kleos journal.

Izy was holding Kleo as she was like "mommy, mommy, wait for me!!".

Anyway, Kleo ate another pinkie from the water dish. I scented it a little with guppie to speed up the process - 15 secs and pinkie in her belly (swallowing not counted in). Amon, in the other hand, do not wants to eat and I'm little concerned. he's very active and I'm not sure what he's up to - he wants to flee from his cage, he's hungry but don't want to eat frozen mice or what? After 3 days I'm gonna buy live hopper. If he doesn't eat, after 2 days gonna check with the vet. Or maybe you have other idea? I mean, I heard that sometimes male house snakes make some kind of starvation because they are horny or something...
