Warm Water in the Enclosure?
So I was going to buy guppies and they say their water should be around 75-80F I think? I have a half gallon bowl thing in with my garter... Can I put a mini aquarium heater in this for the fishies?

There is A LOT of 'should be' in this world but you can get away with just room temperature, when the snake finds that there is fish in the bowl it'll keep going back until they are gone
half gallon?! thats a pretty big water bowl, thats like almost 2 liters

Re: Warm Water in the Enclosure?
I wouldn't worry with it. I doubt that water temp is going to be terribly much lower than ambient temp. Besides, it's not like you're going to be raising them in that bowl.
People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but actually, from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint, it's more like a big ball of wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey stuff.

Guppies are kinda hardy. I'd get a small tank, with this
It's a little filter that sits on my desk. A tube from it to the air stone feeds the air to the water, and works pretty well.

A filter. All fish, except a few, need filters. It's only like $12.00

By the time I turned to get the aerator the guppies would be gone.
The snakes would be looking at like "What?"

If yours is a fish-lover, you won't have to worry about preserving the guppies more than a few minutes. Actually, we used to just put them in a little room-temp bowl in his cage. One time we had a guppy that ended up living in that bowl for months. They're surprisingly hard to kill.

I know i love it.
They are pretty hardy, not a lot of care needed. Temprature doesn't need to be perfect.
