    RedSidedSPR,
We were discussing why my snakes were so calm and not mean.
Front opening enclosures. They can see me coming right in front of them. None of that coming in from the top stuff.
I think that makes a big difference.

AHHHH..... Hmmm... Guess that makes sense yeah, really, I mean, they get used to the top lids, but that would make a difference...

Do you have any top lidded ones that you've noticed the difference in the snakes?

Well, can't do that now, but when all my snakes grow up, im gonna put them all in a nice big front opening cage. Should be awesome.

Right now the only snakes I have in top lid enclosures are babies and they are more jumpy than the groups of babies that are in front opening.
Once I get my hand in with them(top lid snakes) they seem to settle down some but I have to be careful not to make any quick movements or the bolt.

I can back that up... That top movement triggers a natural predetorial reaction.

The lid sliding on or off, always makes my adult jump. Te babies are calm enough it doesn't bother them, but if I reach my hand over the cage, they jump back...

Front opening enclosures and familiarity probably are the two big reasons my snakes are so calm and not mean.
Then comes my pleasant personality and the fact I smell like a garter snake.

So if youre selling these do you know how much you will be selling them for? just curious cause my dad had a Ball python and had it for a long time . He does have her( I think that what it was) anymore and might consider getting another one.
I wanted to Thank you Steve for your help with the heating pad.

I have 4 Easterns(mine: Furbie and Whiplash; moms: Diamond and Silky) all are 5 and half months old. So much fun gaters are.
