That's PC for you. Instead of one word that has worked just fine for a very long time, lets use two and make it awkward to say, and tiresome to read and write. It's getting quite ridiculous. They even have us putting nouns before adjectives in in a sentence just to make a sentence "PC".

And while they're at it, they also won't hesitate to "correct" you when you speak the words you have known all your life and when you use proper English sentencing structure.
