    You don't, in my opinion, unless the top fits snugly into the inside lip, or actually hangs over the outside. I have suspicions that the top shown is not escape proof.

    Well they have the metal “C” type clamps. However, having them myself they would seem a bit weak for the size of the top.
    I don’t know … maybe he places a rock on top.

    Hum, it must work securely I just can’t see it. To dark to see the formed plastic trim.

    Was there a slide area for a top in the plastic trim? And that was the section you made?

    My Woma's habitat has the top that slide out and there are two locking devices with pins. How do you secure yours?
