    Same difference. I know that opinions will most definitely differ from mine, but that's another genus (Coluber) that is ill suited for tank/tub life. In my experience, every attempt to keep a racer or coachwhip in captivity has ended badly. They were just to nervous and flighty, wouldn't eat well if at all, and just don't like to be confined.

    I used to think the same thing, and still do on most occasions, but i know it's possible. Wayne has a racer, that eats great.
    I'd never keep a racer in anything even remotely small, at least as 20-30gal, and only if i felt capable. They are almost impossible to tame to like handling, but they can be nice and calm/friendly as long as you don't touch them .

    I love racers, and hope to have one someday, but yes. They, technically, aren't the MOST suited for captivity, and only by the "pros" or someone capable and experienced.

    Dudes its not a coachwhip its a yellowtail cribo...relative to our native indigo snakes
