Like I have said. Craigslist is a no-go for me. Our "local" walmart doesn't carry tanks.

I didn't think mine did either. It's in the fish section, just back in a shelf. Only one or two at a time. Always 10gals. Lids are next to it. But i guess not all carry them

As expensive as petco usually is, even they sell new 10 gal tanks for 10 bucks. A screen lid for one is the same. 10 bucks. If somebody was charging 30 or 40 bucks for just the tank, even if it was a slide-lock one, that's rather high. Ads like that usually get flagged and eventually removed.

Not at the store by my house. They got tons of them stacked up. Always $9.99

Petco. Huge store. They have everything including a grooming shop and a very large aquarium section which includes aquatic turtles.

Still, that's weird how they charge less..
