    Re: feeding baby garters

Okay, I was justing looking at my snake ( He's so tiny I have to wear my glasses and use a magnifying glass lol) He's starting to look like he's going to shed. This would explain his loss of appetite. Could this be possible

His eyes aren't there yet but he's getting that cloudy(?) look. You know what I mean. Like I said it's hard to see, he's tiny. (And so cute!)

    Re: feeding baby garters

I know what you mean. your saying he's dull?. Good i guess. If that's what it is.. this is pretty early. Cool. If his eyes aren't blue, and i can't see a pic, i can't guarantee he's actually shedding but,...

I guess it possible, I did not catch any of the signs that my snake was going to shed until I found shed skin in the cage.

If his eyes are even slightly cloudy, he should be going into shed.

She says they aren't.... says he's just "cloudy". I'm guessing that means his skin is paler

That's how it starts. Getting dull/dark, then cloudy comes later. Sometimes the eyes don't go cloudy at all, or just slightly so for a day or two. Cloudy is really the latest stages of the shedding process right before clearing and actual shedding.

exactly. It's really obvious though, once eyes are blue.
