Impromptu herping trip pictures!

It was a nice sunny afternoon here, so I went out hoping to find some interesting snakes, and I definitely did! I'm still miffed that I didn't get a picture of this BEAUTIFUL cottonmouth that I ran up on, but oh well...
Also there are pictures of my garter at the end; finally got a new camera, and it shows off his colors really well



Here was a cute little baby snapping turtle with an attitude



This was a baby watersnake



And this was a much larger, more awesome one in the middle of hunting
