    In garter withdrawal!

    Hi everyone,

Haven't posted in a long time, but I do occasionally lurk around the "nature photography" thread. For some reason I still get email updates for that thread, which is a nice reminder to come back and check in here.

Right now I don't have any garters! ...considering they are by far one of my favorite snakes its quite a shock.

I have seen wild garters around here this spring though- which is an excellent sign. Here is a photo of one lovely snake roaming around the back woods.

...now I gotta go off to see if there are any recent garter snake classifieds on this site!!! I'm into this bioactive, live-planted vivarium phase and I need another thamnophis species!

They are not just snakes. They're garter snakes.

The best habitats and vivariums could not replicate nature! ... reptile conservation is very important to me (and hopefully all others who love snakes can appreciate them in their natural state too!)
