Trouble identifying this colubrid, Kansas Area

I've google'd and reviewed extensive pics of garter and corn snakes but can't find a match.

Any help identifying this snake is greatly appreciated (so I know what to feed it)!

It was caught in the Kansas City, KS area today on a walk near a stream (30 ft away or so).

If the color is true it could be a Storeria occipitomaculata. Hard to say for sure if it is a Brown Snake.(Storeria dekai) Probably safer to go with Stefan and just say that it is Storeria. I can't be sure of the species. They are all so similar.

Is the belly a very rich red color?
