While feeding a group ofT.s.parietalis (Red Sided Garter Snakes). I looked over(glass partition) and say this beautiful little female albino het. red phase.
She's about a year away from breeding.
Hoping to produce some that look like her Mother(Rita) R.I.P.

Haha! That is so cute. Maybe he hasn't had the talk... You know about the body changing and sprouting hair on his face when he becomes a certain age... Steve, how could you neglect telling him about that!?

This evening Honda wasn't satisfied with the number of pinkies I gave her.
She only wanted 1 more. This bite started on the second knuckle.
As she worked her way down to the end of my pinky I was able to reach behind me and grab a camera.
She wasn't listening to a thing I was telling her and sank her teeth in. I applied a little upwards pressure to the top jaw and she let go right away.
Before anyone asks. Yes, I did feed her another mouse pinky after she let go.
Poor starving creature.
She can be a little pushy at times but she is one of my favorite snakes.
Love those eyes.
She's one of those special snake as I didn't catch her, she came to me.

That's fuzzy blood from the last one she ate. She was still swallowing it when she grabbed me.
She did sink her teeth but it was on the end of my pinky.
