    A couple of observations:

The female seems to be keeping her body temperature very high. If I had to guess, it's 35C or higher.

She digested a 15 gram mouse in just under 36 hours.

If it were my snake and I knew she was gravid I wouldn't let her go that high.

    Her body, her choice.

She has every opportunity to thermoregulate and she does take advantage of it.

The viperine snake might have eggs on the way again.

The little booger. Would you have better luck shifting viperines in your neck of the woods?

I'd say so. I know at least one person who's intersted.

The female has been restless all day. I just hope she accepts the box I provided and doesn't decide to lay them in the water bowl or something. I can't see her from where I'm sitting right now, but I can hear her constantly slither around on the newspaper substrate.

Impossible, it's a local newspaper. The front page story was probably about some old lady's cat having kittens.
