Maybe he feels misunderstood. I mean, Snap was tame and calm for Richard, she comes to me and she's a serious spitfire. I can only hold her if I let her have a little spa day... Complete with the hot tub, manicure and pedicure, face mask and little cucumbers on here eyes... Then I can hold her for a little while before she unleashes a big smelly pile of poop on me. All Ember needs is to be picked up...

Blame Don then, he came that way. I don't want to give the impression that I tease him. That was a one-time thing for the camera. However, he hides all the time and I must disturb him to feed him. Every time I do, I am greeted with that attitude, until he takes a bite. Then he calms down, eats a few more bites, then back to hiding again. His sister, twice his size, is a sweetheart.

Hah, snakes get away with more than any human could. Could you see yourself pooping on your mom while she was holding you? Probably not, that would be weird. Or how about biting and hissing when you didn't want to be disturbed?

well i hiss... and i puff up to make myself look bigger...it dosent work though

I can see that failing quite easily. Mama hisses and puffs up when she doesn't get her way, but she still doesn't get it. Snap also puffs up if my mom is in the room and moves too quickly.
