does anybody here keep tarantulas and have any information on species and the care and keeeping of one?

I've been having a pink-toe for three years or so, and it's by far the easiest pet I have
I do understand there are difficult ones too, but mine thrives on very little

Currently reading - "One Flew Over The Cukoo's Nest"
I thought I would give it a try. Really quite enjoyable so far ... nice to have things from the Indian's perspective.

I'm reading "Coming Home to Eat : the pleasures and politics of local foods" by Gary Paul Nabhan"
my most fun read recently was "Farm City" by Novella Carpenter - maybe not so fun for vegetarians though

The first 3 books I received as a gift. The photos and maps are great. I should have paid more attention in German class in high school. The last book is on loan from a local college.
The two Hallmen books are extra special as they are autographed to me.
I have gut/good friends

And I'm saving Pratchett & Gaiman's Good Omens: The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch for now.

Good Omens is a great book I have read it at least 5 or 6 times.

Just finished The Lord Of The Rings last night so now I'm going to start re-reading The Sword Of Truth series
