Another lethal batch of Wal Mart fish

I scrapped all of the fish and buy fresh trout now.

Once they start taking pinkies, no fish at all will be fed.

Due to the cost, I still must feed them fish too. I try to stick to the frozen silversides though.

I still do fresh salmon at my grocery store. I have had no problem there and go to the same store every time. I also tend to buy them the "pricey" stuff

Wild Alaskan pink salmon is the only salmon these days that isn't loaded with mercury and PCB's. That one tends to only be available seasonally, even as close to alaska as I am. Too rich and fatty to be used very often.

I was going to try frozen silversides but the ones I saw at petco were almost 8 bucks...is there a better place to get these?

That's the only place I know of. How many snakes do you have? I mean, when I buy them even at petco, it's quite a supply and they last a good length of time. Is 8 bucks really all that much? I can feed all my snakes for a month practically.

8 bucks is nothing, I pay about $100 a month to keep my snakes fed.

The package I saw looked pretty small...i'll have to have another look.

And btw, no....8 bucks is not all that much. Just wondered if that is how you generally buy them.
