something else....was picked up this summer by someone and brought here to Utah.....this person had no clue and called it a ribbon snake. didn't even know how to care for it, and gave it to the rescue.

I'm glad they knew to do that, so someone could care for it properly.

I've still to meet one of these agressive/defensive garters ..... I must be doing something wrong
I've had hissing from a gravid female .... but have never seen the 'I WILL take your finger hostage, if you come too close' look.
