YES CHECKERED RIBBON SNAKES Dont exist to MY knowledge.(enchanted rock trip got canceled but im going hunting this weekend so ill be outside a lot ill look for snakes)

I caught that too! maybe what they meant was "checkered garter snakes AND ribbon snakes" or it's possible that they simply meant "checkered garter snakes". Either way, it's not all that innaccurate. According to Stefan, ribbon snakes ARE garter snakes although I don't buy into that. If they were just garter snakes, they would call them that.
