    Late Fall Jiggy Time.

The T.ordinoides (Northwestern Garter Snake) that I received from Richard seem to have some breeding ideas. They are in quarantine and I told them no breeding but they don't seem to be listening.
I'm not used to these small garter snakes yet. If they were radixes this probably wouldn't be happening. I guess these are mature Northwesterns.
I hope they lock up as I would love to have some deep Winter babies.

Same thing with Snakey and Mama. Always tell them "no making jiggy time" and there they go... Lol. They do look like adults to me, Mama's probably a little larger than that female, but, they are really small. Good things come in small packages.

Everytime it warms up a little here, my babies are "tail holding". I keep having "The Talk" but to no avail.

I hope they lockup as babies in the dead of Iowa Winter is a welcome sight.
I may have some radixes born in the next month. Lucky's daughter LG is looking rather large, in a gravid sort of way.
I didn't think there was a mature male in with her group but I may be proven wrong.
The family is excited for LG.
    Time will tell.

Even if they do, the babies don't come in the winter

If they were maintained warn and on food there should be no obstacle for the babies to develope.
I had litters all year round including Janurary and I know at least one breeder who brumates snakes in groups in a row to get very early clutches as well as very late.
    Allready waiting for the sommer
