Re: Two Headed Garter Snake
We actually have here a pair of conjoined twins, girls. They are joined at the chest, so two heads, two arms, two legs, they share a torso. They are living with family in the area and we met them at the beach one day. I would have to say, I admire their courage and their ability to adapt to their "handicap". It must be very difficult to go thru a day sharing a body, let alone dealing with the public.

You know, the point was that we don't generally refer to conjoined twins as a two-headed human. Yet for some reason, conjoined snakes do get called a two-headed snake.
It annoys me, because it's not rational.

That's true. They are considered seperate individuals. yet the snake is not. (Or any other animal for that matter)

I actually like snakes/animals that have something "wrong" with them. It almost makes them seem to have more beauty than a "normal" snakes or animals. I don't know why I'm so attracted to the odd snakes... But that guy is absolutely lovely!
