    Lol a water monitor will need a 12-14 foot long by 6-7 foot wide by 8-9 foot high enclosure, and that goanna that can stand is called an argus monitor or it could be a varanus flavirufus but most likely a argus monitor, it will need a huge cage too.Peach throats don't need massive enclosures but still need something large and are rather finicky and not to handleable and generally are wild caught.

    goannas include many monitors not just argus monitours and more than one species can stand up...ooooooooooooooooooooooo boy just like my attention san this has been DDDDEEEEE---RRRAAAIIILLLEEEDDD! HAHAHA back to college talk!

    I never said goannas are only argus and the most common monitor to tripod in captivity are argus and most likely what your talking about.Also goannas are not a good way to address a monitor considering it includes around 30 species 25 of which are Australian species and some Asian species.There's not a lot of commonly available monitor species that tripod.Sorry about derailing your thread.
