    Konrad,
"That's no moon it's a space station" (Star Wars)

What have you been feeding that girl.
I am impressed. Did I mention I was impressed. Very impressive snake. Impressive size.
    WOW
Have you bred her and if so are you keeping some offspring to see if her Giantism is genetic?
    Keep up the good work.
Giant radixes. Next, world radix domination!

Oh c'mon Steve. Really she's just good sized for a female of her age. You talk like she's extraordinarily huge.

Starting with the T. Radix ranch and then all of Iowa.

"Gee Brain, what do you want to do tonight?"

"Same thing we do every night Pinky... try to take over the world!"

As many of you might know, Pinky and the Brain never were very good planners, and being mice, I don't think they were counting on giant plains garter snakes getting in their way

Sorry about going off topic. I just love that cartoon. Comes from the wonderfully twisted mind of Steven Spielberg. I'd love to see him create another series based on Steve's mind-control ninja radixes vs. Pinky and the Brain. That would be awesome!

From: The Garter Snake-Evolution and Ecology-
Thamnophis radix is a relatively long species of garter snake, reaching a maximum total length of 1092 mm (Nero, 1957)"
    That's 43 inches max.
I would say this snake qualifies for extraordinarily large.
I suppose you heard of one or you've seen one bigger?

It's the longest radix I've ever seen. Did I metion I was impressed

Oh, I know that! I'm addicted to garter snakes I even bought myself 2 more thanks to Richard... I just have to convince my mom to allow me to have some more... She doesn't like the bigger garter snakes, though. She said Mama is the biggest she wants me to have while I live with her... I think most garters are bigger than Mama. Haha.

Well I don't place too much faith in this Nero character but if you say that snake is extraordinarily huge, I'd say you are more qualified to make that judgment than Nero or myself.

I guess I didn't think that she's all that huge since I routinely find T. sirtalis (concinnus) that big or even bigger but then again, those aren't radixes.
