Bad news. I found Lucky dead in her water dish this morning. I don't know why or how she died. I doubt she drowned because the water dish wasn't too big. She hadn't eaten yet...I hate to think she could have starved. I tried many times to get her to eat, but she just wouldn't take it! She had trouble recognizing the worm-pieces as food. Since she was missing an eye I guess the food was in her sight only half the time as it would be for a normal snake. I only had her for two weeks, but I'm still pretty upset right now.

Don't worry about it! As the others have said it was not unexpected.

Dont worry about it, it is hard and it upsets me too because I was hoping for her to live and grow up. There's just something special about deformed snakes that makes me hope they'd grow up and live like regular ones. At least lucky had such a caring owner for the 2 weeks you had her. You did everything you could for her, and I think most people wouldn't have even given her a second glance, but you decided to give her a chance at life. It's not your fault, it's completely out of your control. I think what you did is very commendable. I hope you feel better
