Given her mutations, I'm not sure whether she'll survive at all. What do you think? - She has a kink, an underbite, and she's missing an eye, but she's still incredibly cute. She's very fast and fiesty. She actually tried to bite me, believe it or not.

I haven't tried feeding her yet, but I purchased guppies and will try either later this evening or tomorrow.

If anybody has any ideas for names, please let me know.

Oh, poor little thing. Do your best. You're the only chance he has.

As far as names go, why not explore a list of famous people with underbites? Perhaps "Mr. Leno" for a male, "Mrs. Obama" for a female?

    OK, maybe not.

But anyway, that little snake is soooo lucky that you were the one to find it. At any moment, it could have been a hungry predator.

I got to thinking he kind of looks like a snake version of a hillbilly, then I found this very humorous "wiki style" page.

If it proves to be a survivor, I'd name it Merrick after Joseph Merrick, who courageously faced deformity, and still managed to charm many.
I hope it thrives under your protection!
