    Identification

I would like to get better at identifying the various Thamnophis that are out there slithering around. I enjoy, of course, looking at all of the different photos that you have all attached in your threads and in the gallery, but many of them are not labeled as to what they are. I think it would be nice to be able to go to the gallery and find a folder on “T.s.fitchii”, for example, and there see photos of not only the normal looking fitchii but the many different strains that members own, or have taken photos of in the wild. It would even be nice to see an article or a thread dedicated especially for physical descriptions of the differences that will help novices in developing a better understanding and skill in identification. Just an idea for discussion and consideration.

Thanks Steve, I'll have to start watching used bookstores. Looks like a good book to have around!
