Everyone that knows me would never say I was cold, but in a lot of cases I'd agree with you.

Not illegal in the State of Oregon. A lot of red tape and conditions involved, but Dr. assisted is legal in Oregon. There has already been (very) few that have taken that option.

without going into details, I have a condition that could prove in later years to result in a slow agonizing death. My Dr. has already shown me how to defeat the regulator on a morphine drip. If and when I get to that point, he'll be my Dr. and well, I'll go in comfort.

I'm glad you were there to end her suffering. I am sorry that you had to do it though. The poor thing must have suffered horribly with those injuries. I can't help but think how I would be/feel with the same injury
