when the term hypo is used by itself it means the overall color is redused, the red hypo plains garter was very similar to Shannons red hypo water snakes...hope that helps ya Richard

as my mother used to say - can't argue about taste
and if albinos are not your thing, you might consider this snake to be unattractive
if you are into albinos however, I can see that you would consider this snake a hot item
