    Hmmmmmm….. may be a clue to the missing garter snakes, second one of these in one afternoon. Not nearly as aggressive as the other one. Looks kind of familiar though.




    Thought so! Sure looks like the same snake as this one from a couple of years ago. Getting too big for the sunroom, off to exile with the other one. Maybe my little guys will be safer now.

    They are indeed! I have been keeping a kind of informal set of id photos, mostly of the “shield” markings on the head. Only moved them a couple of hundred yards out to a brushpile in the swamp. We’ll see if any of them make it back to the sunroom.

    Terry ever since you posted their pics, and Stefan said what kind of snake they are, I have been researching them to see where I could possible get CB Eastern Milks to add to my collection of snakes!!
